Classic Solo provides an excellent riding position combined with a nostalgic look. Wide, dished seating gives you a greater area of body contact for superior weight dispersion. Naturally the Classic Solo is built with our high-density Comfort Cell foam for a firm supportive ride that will last all day.

Classic Solo works with our removable rider’s backrest for added back support. Corbin backrests are fully adjustable for a tailored fit to your posture and are simple to install with just a single lock screw under the saddle. Once installed angle adjustment is simple and does not require removal of the backrest. Choose any of the backrest models we offer to suit your taste ().

Corbin’s Classic Solo works with two different models of passenger pillion pads. Corbin pillions bolt up easily with your Softail to add passenger capability to your bike and unique looks. We have two models to choose from depending on the look and degree of comfort you want to supply your passenger. Our Touring Pillion offers a generously sculpted seating position built thick for long-range comfort. For a sleeker look, our 50’s style pad is a low profile version built with high-density foam that offers good short range comfort. Both models are made to coordinate with your solo saddle with a matching cover pattern.

As with all Corbin saddles, genuine leather seating is included in your choice of colors and styles. Leather makes a great seating material due to its durability and its ability to breathe with your body. Leather will also break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Coordinated vinyl side panels complete the look and keep your saddle shape tight. For a more customized look, chrome studs make a nice option and are included at no additional charge… all you have to do is ask! Just remember that you need to care for your leather saddle properly using a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help your leather to stay water resistant and develop its own unique character as it ages.

For those chilly morning rides we offer an option of heated rider seating. We incorporate a heater unit under the leather seating and a switch on the left side of the saddle (so you can turn it on without removing your hand from the throttle). Just flip the switch and the seat will warm up and maintain temperature automatically. Corbin’s heater comes completely pre installed in the saddle and you need only integrate the included pigtail to your battery.

Additionally, our Classic Solo Saddles are simple to install on your stock Softail chassis and utilize a built in key lock system. Just install the included brackets and your Solo seat will install and remove with a twist of a key.

Need more options? backrests have removable finishing plates on the rear available in a range of styles. The standard plate is an ABS leather look, but we can also provide one with a carbon-fiber look or primer and ready for your custom painter. For just a little extra, we can provide the finishing plate on your backrest prepainted gloss black. These make a perfect finishing touch.

If you’re looking to add a bit of convenient storage, the rear finishing plate can be replaced with the . This adds four liters of locking storage that is perfect for maps, cell phones, bottled water and other small travel essentials. Comes fully lined and weather stripped to protect cargo. Available in plain black ABS or prepainted gloss black for a little extra. See Accessories tab for additional information. Please note, the Glovebox is not designed to be used with a pillion pad in place.

New Backrest Hardware CoverThis saddle cover has been updated to use our new backrest hardware cover with the sliding door as shown here. To install the backrest, just slide the cover over to the side. When the backrest is not needed, just slide it closed. It doesn’t get easier than that!

FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don’t telegraph through the foam to your body.

This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material.

GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste.

ELECTRIC HEAT: As an option we can include electric heat in this saddle! This option provides a true bit of luxury for when the temperature starts to drop. Simple to install with major components pre-built into the saddle. Just wire in the included pigtail and you’re ready to roll.

CORBIN BACKREST SYSTEM: The first and most versatile removable backrest system available for motorcycles! Corbin’s backrests provide added vertical back support and long range comfort.
