Once the front bracket is installed, the Corbin saddle mounts using a tongue in the front and a single bolt into a stock loaction on the fender at the rear.

Corbin saddles (with very few exceptions) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.

Corbin’s classically styled Brave saddle gives the Chief with a fast, sporty look while providing excellent rider comfort. The smooth profile of the saddle matches that of the bike, blending with the overall scheme of the machine and embellishes the Indian design.

Rider’s position has been optimized into the sweet spot for a more integrated feeling with the bike. The stock unit sits too high and leaves the rider feeling disconnected and like they are riding ON top of the bike.

Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a sleek, low profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Ergonomic shaping in the seating provides good ground reach, excellent back support and better weight dispersion for more time in the saddle. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for good ground reach. Passenger area is designed primarily for looks, but is padded and upholstered so it can take passengers for short trips.

Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank, chassis and fender… this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin’s ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.

We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.

Installs on the Chief using an included bracket for the front and a single bolt into your fender at the rear. We also offer a machined stainless steel thumbscrew (#ACST-8M) for tool free installation and removal.

Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don’t telegraph through the foam to your body.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle’s foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue.
